A practice of generosity.
A gift of compassion.
Through Vipassana Illawarra, meditation teacher Grahame White is turning gratitude for the teachings into support for the people of Myanmar.
The spirit of dana
Generosity that reaches beyond the meditation room.
Dana is a voluntary offering of generosity, expressing appreciation for the teachings and the opportunity to practise. Through this partnership, that generosity also helps support communities facing hardship in Myanmar.
Myanmar holds a special place in Grahame’s life. He undertook his meditation training there and remains deeply grateful to the teachers and people who supported him. Giving through Better Burma is a way to honour that connection and extend care to people affected by the humanitarian crisis.
We are grateful to Grahame and the Vipassana Illawarra community for bringing this spirit of compassion into action.
