Healthcare on the Move
Under the shade of trees in a village inside KNU Brigade (6) territory, our trusted partner on the Thai-Myanmar border rolled out a green tarp, unpacked their boxes of medicine, and turned open ground into a clinic for the day. No walls. No waiting room. Just commitment, care, and the quiet determination to reach those who are too often out of reach.
This mobile clinic exists for villages that cannot be easily accessed, places where distance, conflict, and fragile infrastructure keep healthcare far away. On this visit alone, 37 people received medical attention: 11 men and 24 women. Among them were 24 adults and 13 children under the age of 15, young lives that deserve more than uncertainty when they fall ill.
From blood pressure checks to basic treatments and consultations, the team worked patiently, sitting knee-to-knee with families on low wooden benches. Sandals lined the edge of the tarp. Children waited beside their mothers. It was simple, humble, and deeply human, healthcare delivered in trust.
We are grateful to our partner who continues to carry medicine across difficult terrain so that care can reach the last mile. In places where clinics cannot stand permanently, compassion moves instead.
